The Bedford, Balham, London

It means the world to us to finally to be able to finally invite you all to a series of fully live intimate acoustic shows with some of our favourite artists, supporting independent venues. Gig #1 - What better venue to return to live for us, than to a venue so dear to all our hearts, The Bedford Balham. Our wonderful lineup for our first fully live show back since six months of lockdown will be:

ALEX GIBSON Alex Gibson has rightly earned the reputation as one of London’s hardest working and most exciting musical acts. The Australian born singer-songwriter built a loyal following in his home country before dropping everything and buying a one-way ticket to London. He describes his music as a “mix between Pop, Soul and Folk” citing Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder and The Beatles among his musical influences, alongside modern-day stars such as John Mayer, Sean Mendez and Coldplay. A string of 2020 single releases have met with critical success and multiple playlisting.

LOUISE GOLBEY Louise is an established artist on the Soul scene of London and beyond. She has played at Glastonbury and Isle of Wight Festivals, recorded at Maida Vale for the BBC and supported and shared the stage with many established artists including Ed Sheeran (who is also in one of her music videos), Katy B, Paloma Faith, Lianne La Havas, Anthony David, George Benson (Kenwood House), Alexander O’Neal, The Stylistics (UK tour) , En Vogue and Roberta Flack at The Indigo2, Roy Ayers, Omar & Heatwave at The Jazz Cafe, Eric Benet at The Hideaway and most recently she supported Kool and The Gang, Brand New Heavies, Level 42 and Hetaher Small at The o2 Arena for The Electric Soul Festival hosted by Trevor Nelson. She was Caffe Nero Artist of the Month last year and has received support from DJs on BBC 1 Xtra, 6 Music, Jazz FM, Mi Soul, Radio 2 and radio stations across Europe over the years. She has an extensive catalogue of music available on all digital platforms.

FABER: FABER is an electrifying singer-songwriter from South London, who fuses soulful vocals with rocky edge, nodding to the sounds of Beyoncé and Skunk Anansie.

As ever at the lovely Bedford, this will be a seated and intimate and perfect for a socially distanced event.
